Privacy Policy

Animaly Bar Guide is an unofficial fan guide. It is not made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Domnaier, the developer and publisher of Animaly Bar: NO HUMANITY!, or with Valve. We collect as little as we can.

What stays in your browser

This site saves three things in your browser's local storage, and only after you use the matching control:

• ab:spoiler-level:v1: the spoiler zipper level you picked (Zipped, Half unzipped or Unmasked). Nothing is saved until you change it.
• ab:achievements:v1: the achievements you ticked in the achievement checklist.
• orbitmate:cookie-consent:v1: your choice in the analytics banner (Accept or Reject).

The saved values never leave your device, and we cannot read them. Ticking an achievement or changing the zipper level is counted, as described under Analytics. The Reset button in the checklist clears your ticks, and clearing this site's data in your browser removes all three.

What you send us

The feedback form opens a draft in your email app. You can review and edit the request before sending it. We receive it only when you send the email, and then retain the message and your sender address so we can reply and decide what to check in the game next. Nothing you send is published on the site.

This static site does not submit feedback to a product API or store it in a website database.

Hosting and logs

The static site runs on Cloudflare. Incoming feedback emails are routed through Cloudflare to our mailbox. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Analytics

We measure how the guide is used in three ways. None of them receives anything you type or paste into the site, or the address you email us from.

• Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views, referring sites, countries, device types and page speed. Cloudflare adds its script to every page, and the script does not use cookies or local storage to track visitors.
• Our own interaction counts show which parts of the guide are used: how long a page stays open in the foreground, how far down it is scrolled, which section headings come into view, which links are followed (for links to other sites, only the site they lead to), which achievements are ticked, which spoiler zipper level is picked, which options are chosen in the issue finder and the "since you last played" tool, where the visit came from as a broad type (search engine, AI assistant, social site, game store, other site or direct) and whether the screen is phone, tablet or desktop size. The counts go to this site's own address with no cookie, no local storage and no ID, so they cannot be linked to each other or to you. Your IP address reaches Cloudflare with the request, as it does for every page, but it is not stored with the counts. The counts are kept for three months; daily totals per page are kept longer.
• Google Analytics 4 runs only after you choose Accept in the analytics banner. Google then sets its own cookies, listed in the Cookie Policy, and receives page views and the events above, along with the device and location details Google Analytics collects itself. To change your choice, use the Analytics settings button at the bottom of the page. Choosing Reject stops Google Analytics and reloads the page.

No advertising or session recording scripts run on this site.

Children

The request form does not ask for your name. If you are under 13, please leave the email field empty.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep requests while they help us plan the guide. To see or delete what you sent us, write to the address on our Contact page and tell us roughly what you submitted and when.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the bottom of the page changes with it.
